Daaa Bears!

So the bears lost yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Maybe now some of these Chicagoans will realize how bad the Bears actually are and how important it was that the Bears got lucky for many of their games this season. I will give them this though, during the regular season the Bears played some very good D but that defense didnt show up to play yesterday. Payton, Addai, and Rhodes tore it apart. On the other hand, the true rookie Rex Grossman did show up yesterday.

I think that it is only natural to dislike the team that everyone but you are rooting for. Subconsiously it the thought must be that because they are not rooting for my team they must be rooting against it.

To me its not even that they are rooting against my team because they are rooting for a different team. I have never had a championship in my lifetime, and for that reason I get jealous any time another fan's team wins a championship because its like he has something over me. For instance, this September I really wanted the White Sox to make the playoffs instead of the Tigers. I hate both teams, but I wanted the defending champs to have a shot to win again instead of the Cinderella Tigers. My rationale? I have no problem with the rich getting richer as long as my fellow poor person doesn't get rich. The Sox ALREADY had a ring, so one more wouldn't change anything. But if the Tigers had won, I would be worse than Chicago fans AND Detroit fans.
